HOW TO MOVE TO SLOVENIA?
Relocation to Slovenia. There are several types of immigration to Slovenia:
Business. This is an excellent way to acquire a residence permit in Slovenia. The smallest authorized capital upon registration is 7,500 euros. First, a residence permit is issued for 1 year, then it can be extended for another 1 year, and then for 2 years.
Job. In order to obtain a work permit, you must provide a written guarantee from your employer. If an employer hires a foreigner to work without a work permit, he or she faces serious fines, and the foreigner faces deportation. As a rule, such permits are issued for a period of no more than 1 year.
Studies. It takes 4-6 years to obtain higher education in Slovenia, after which you can find a good job or go to graduate school.
Real estate. According to Slovenian legislation, only citizens of the United States and the European Union can buy real estate in this country. If you decide to buy housing here, then there is one way out - to open a business and register your company in this country.
Refugee. As soon as you arrive in Slovenia, you must immediately submit an application for asylum within 3 days. On the same day you will be interviewed and sent to a center for displaced persons.
After you have received a permanent residence permit, you will be issued a foreigner's identity card. If you have received a temporary residence permit, you will be provided with a foreigner’s certificate valid for 1 year.
To obtain Slovenian citizenship, you must live legally in the country for 10 years.
