HOW TO MOVE TO BELGIUM FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE?
Relocation to Belgium. To obtain citizenship in Belgium, you must live in the territory for at least 4 years. But, before this you will need to obtain a long-term visa, which is issued in several cases:
Marriage to a Belgian citizen. Once you have officially registered your marriage, you have the right to legally reside in the country. However, if you decide to get married only for the purpose of moving, you should know that in Belgium they have an extremely negative attitude towards fictitious marriages and there are real criminal penalties for this.
Business immigration. By opening your own company, you will be able to obtain a long-term visa and subsequently a residence permit. Only special attention should be paid to the legalization of finances that were used to open the company. The main conditions for registering a company are the creation of jobs for Belgian citizens, as well as full payment of all taxes, the amount of which sometimes reaches 30%.
Work in the country. Obtaining a work permit in this country is quite difficult. It is better and easier to consider foreign companies operating in Belgium for cooperation, since for them the procedure for attracting foreigners to work is much easier. You can go the other route and get a professional card. Such a card is available only to self-sufficient workers, for example, photographers, designers, artists and artists. It is important to take into account that a professional card is issued for exactly 5 years and during all this time its owner does not have the right to change his type of activity.
Education. Education in this country is absolutely accessible to everyone. The only conditions are proof of financial solvency and health insurance. Students from countries that are not members of the European Union are required to study at a university in their home country for at least a year before entering a Belgian university. Students in Belgium are allowed to work part-time and travel around Europe.
